CoolTech Girls has partnered with Cardinal Health headquartered in Dublin for a unique opportunity to hear from Cardinal Health CIO, Patty Morrison why young women should be considering STEM careers. Patty Morrison is Executive Vice president, Customer Care Shared Services and Chief Information Officer of Cardinal Health, a Fortune 21 health care products and services company dedicated to improving the cost-effectiveness of health care.

Previously, Morrison was EVP and CIO for Motorola. Her prior experience also includes CIO of Office Depot, Inc.; and senior-level information technology positions at General Electric Co., PepsiCo, Inc., The Procter & Gamble Co. and The Quaker Oats Co.

Morrison's reach within the IT and business community has spanned 30 years, across five different industries. A respected and experienced IT professional, she was named 2007 CIO of the Year by the Executive's Club of Chicago and the Association of Information Technology Professionals. She was also inducted to the CIO Magazine Hall of Fame in 2008.

She has dedicated her career to using technology to solving business problems.

Cool Tech Girls will be hosting this special event with Patty Morrison, on Thursday February 5th from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Cardinal Health Corporate Headquarters providing a great opportunity for CoolTech Girls young women, grades 7 - 12, to hear Patty's powerful message on Why More Women are Needed in Technology Fields.
